In collaboration with the Electrical Engineer and the Project Engineer, we completed a fully-functional prototype of the Ryobi garage system that was used to pitch the idea to Home Depot, where the system is now sold.
The fully functional prototype including bluetooth speaker, CO sensor, parking lasers, fan, retractable cord reel, and retractable hose reel with integrated compressor.
With my intimate knowledge of the system and its intricacies, I provided design for manufacturing long after the initial prototype. The biggest challenge was maintaining critical tolerances on interdependent models that have changed hands numerous times.
